Nice shoe but narrow, even in the "wide"
This shoe was too narrow for my foot, even in the wide size. I normally wear a 6.5 C in a dress shoe, and both the 8 wide and 8.5 wide were too narrow for my foot. They gave no room for the foot swelling that can take place over long hikes.

No break-in required!
I finally got out in my new boots today. Went on a short hike to "break in" the new boots, about 3 hours round trip. I'm usually a size 7.5 to 8. The 8 fit me great with room to wear a good SmartWool sock. No blisters, not even a red, rubbed spot. Quite comfy. . . very happy with my purchase!

Great hiking shoes
I don't know how I was hiking without these shoes before! They make a biiiig difference! Excellent grip, very comfy, and my ankles are finally safe. And the best part you don't need to break them in like other hiking shoes! Totally recommended!
