Just like all other Keens--GREAT
You can't tell from the picture, but the tongue of the shoe is not separate from the rest of the upper. It is slightly gusseted by the cloth awl (the fabric band with the stripe of color), but lies completely flat on the inside and the outside by the metal awls. I liked this aspect of the shoe because the tongue of a hiking boot can get lumpy, and when you're wearing thick socks it can become uncomfortable. With this shoe, that won't happen.

The shoe has thin insulation on the inside, but is relatively warm with a nice pair of socks. With a thick pair of wool socks, I would use these as snow boots.

The fabric stripe on the side (goes around the back of the shoe) can be removed. I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, but you can. The stripe also has reflective paint on it.

This shoe is exactly the same size as the Newport sandals I have (I would imagine the sole is from the same mold, if not exactly the same). A Kid's 6 is almost exactly a...

My son loves these shoes. This is the third pair we have tried as he needed water proof hiking boots for Scouts. Very comfortable and well made.


They are a great boot. The size runs a little big but otherwise seem to be very durable and comfortable as well.
Great boot. They have a nice look to them as well. The soles are very soft and flexible. Would higly recommend!
