These boots are great. I purchased a pair locally and loved them but they didn't have in black so purchased another pair thru your site. I have had foot surgery and comfort is very important for me. I love these! As stated in the item description, and reiterated by many other Keen wearers, these do run a little small. I ordered half a size up and they fit perfectly. They were out-of-the-box comfortable for me, as they required no break-in period for long walks. The metal hook-and-eyelet system for the laces is so strong and durable, I cannot imagine ever having issues with them breaking the way fabric or plastic hooks do. The entire boot seems so high-quality and strong to me; these features are worth the extra money to me when compared with other Keen models. They are weighty, which you should expect from a boot of this nature, but I don't find them any heavier than other winter/hiking boots. I have a flat foot and these provide excellent arch support. The height of the boot is also appreciated during long walks as they provide ankle support and have proven to withstand higher levels of snow! Nice shoe but narrow, even in the "wide"
This shoe was too narrow for my foot, even in the wide size. I normally wear a 6.5 C in a dress shoe, and both the 8 wide and 8.5 wide were too narrow for my foot. They gave no room for the foot swelling that can take place over long hikes.

I finally got out in my new boots today. Went on a short hike to "break in" the new boots, about 3 hours round trip. I'm usually a size 7.5 to 8. The 8 fit me great with room to wear a good SmartWool sock. No blisters, not even a red, rubbed spot. Quite comfy. . . very happy with my purchase!

Fit's all ds's except xl
I tried this on all the ds's, and it fits all of them except the xl. It is really sturdy. I am using it for a case for my 3ds. I keep games in the front side, and the 3ds in the other. I love this case better than any other case I have owned.


Wow- Excellent Case!
I ordered this case for use with my 3DS system. While the logo shows the "regular" DS logo, I'm happy to say that the 3DS fits very well. Having received the case as part of a 3DS preorder promotion, I researched it very little and wasn't expecting much. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and features. This is much more than a bag with a single, large pocket for storing the system. Indeed, this case will definitely become the primary travel case for my 3DS.

Not only does the case look nice, but it is well-constructed. The nylon feels strong and all features are stitched on (as opposed to being glued), including the rubber "foot" towards the bottom, which appears to only exist for decorative purposes. Worth specifically pointing out: the amount of padding is substantial for such a small case. I feel like the system is very well protected.

Excellent Boot, Highly Recommended
This is my first review on Amazon because this boot is too good to not have any reviews. I wore the Salomon Comet 3D GTX on a couple short walks before hiking a 2,000ft ascent over about 12 miles. They felt great with very little break in. I would say they're ready out of the box. Grip is excellent up loose rock and dirt. I don't even bother aiming for rocks when crossing streams any more and my feet never get wet inside the boot. The only downside is that the boot will be a little warmer than a fully ventilated boot, but the trade off is well worth it to me. I did a 20 mile hike last week with a 3800ft ascent through a few snow fields along the way and the boots felt great. They did well in the snow until the slope became very steep, then I had to make quite an effort to get my footing before taking each step. I guess that's what crampons are for. They're very stable downhill in regular conditions through dirt and rocks. It's obvious that the boots make a huge difference when I see...


Good hiking boot
I started out with a new pair of Vasque Breeze GTX and although a decent looking shoe, my foot would ache after a good long day hike. Preparing for Philmont trip with my two boys and others with our crew, I was having a lot of trouble with my feet. Bought a pair of the Salomon Comet 3D GTX boots and wow what a difference. Performed a half dozen more practice hikes with full pack at around 45 pounds and another 10 or so small 3 to 5 mile hikes in the evening during hot 90 to 100 degree weather and the boots held up great. Went to Philmont and did the 80 mile trek with no complaints either. Wore the SmallWool heavy hiking socks with the boots. They make a great combination. Came back from Philmont and in the fall put on about 140 miles worth of lite pack hiking in preparation for 50 miler in 24hrs charity hike. Pulled off the 50 miler in 22.5 hours with one change of socks and the Salomons never let me down. I had one week in summer camp this past year where we had 6.5 inches of rain...

I have a pair of Vasque Bitterroot boots in 10 wide which I love, but being all leather they are a bit too warm for spring/summer hiking, so I started looking at boots with a bit more breathability. Ended up ordering the Vasque Breeze and a pair of these. My feet are a bit wide so I got the Salomons in 10.5 as they do not have a wide size.

I received both pairs of boots a day apart. I could tell these Salomons were just better made than the Vasque (of course they are $60 more, but they seemed well worth the extra money and then some). Both boots fit well, but the higher quality of the Salomons and protective toe covering was too much to pass up. The Vasque Breeze just seemed flimsier. All my research seemed to indicate that Salomon boots were excellently crafted, and getting them verified that. Not that the Vasque Breeze were bad, but just seemed average. The Bitterroot also feels top quality FYI.

So far I have taken these Salomons on one hike. Very comfortable...

Good for the price
I purchased these shoes in size 8.5 W. I have a hard time find shoes in my size available in store and often have to order shoes blind without having anything to actually try on. I found these shoes to be pretty true to size and the width to be exactly what I needed. The color in the product photo is very accurate and I was happy to find the "lime" color accents are not as garrish as I had feared. The construction quality seems fairly good (all the seams are tightly double stitched and nothing appears to be poorly glued in place). The shoes themselves are light weight and breathe very well. The tread is pretty deep and gives a good feel on gravel and dirt (it does have lime colored accents down the entire center of the bottom of the shoe which is not particularly pretty in my opinion). I have not run these shoes through any hard outdoors work and don't actually entend to use them for hiking but rather for everyday wear since I personally can't stand sneakers. In...

a very good shoe well made and with precision. all seams straight and not too close to the edge so they wont come loose. the shoe is a little heaveyer the new balance that i also have. The soles grip good on most serfices and seem to wear well. the main thing i like these over the new balance is the toung is longer so it does not slip under the laces. i would reccomend these over the new balance. they also fit my square front toes that get pinched in so many of other brands with pointed fronts on the shoes.


Nice boot for the money, a little weird fit and lacing
I've had these boots for about a week, and aside from a couple of oddities I'll point out, they seem very solid.

They are wider than other boots I've worn. I always wear a size 10.5M (US) and these are maybe a tiny bit shorter than most and the width is a little too roomy. So, a thicker pair of socks might be necessary if I wear these on a real hike. The lacing is also a bit odd. There is only one "hook" at the top and a total of four eyelets. This means I cannot really cinch the laces down, which I'd like to do with the width issue.

That said, these seem to be well constructed, all glue and seams are tight. They are light weight, but offer pretty decent protection when walking on rocky trails. For the money, they were a good buy. I'd just be aware of the wider than usual shape. Oh, and the lime green color is not overly bold and blends pretty well with the gray.

I have gained a lot from reading other reviews so I feel compelled to share my experience with these boots as there is only one other review at the time of this write up.

Before purchasing this boot I performed my usual research online and looked at a lot of different options. I have a fair number of Merrell's in the closet and have been generally happy with them. As I looked around I wanted to be sure I found a tall enough boot that had at least two shoelace eyelets above the pivot point of the ankle to eliminate the excess movement and chafing that can occur with many mid height boots that have only one eyelet above the ankle. These boots caught my eye so I took a good look at them and researched quite a bit about Keen. I added a pair of Keen's to the collection several weeks ago and am quite happy with them and my research showed that other owners are generally quite happy as well.

I have worked in Military/Para Military & Security Industry for nearly 30 years. During that time I have experimented with all manner of boot at all price points. Some have been winners; some have fallen appart within days of hard use in tough conditions. What I can say is I wish I had these boots 15 years ago. I am not a shoe salesman or cobbler but here are my feelings. Priority one is fit and comfort and these boots exceeded all expectations. They feel like a very secure sneeker all be it slightly heavier. Next for me is weight. This is a light boot for it's construction. This all leather, waterproof boot is outstanding, the midsole and cushioning is second to none and the shank provides great support. The sole provides traction and is non scuffing so I can wear them in my office and out in the field. With some of my boots I had to change before heading out to shoot or taking the boys out for some PT or I would upset the office cleaning crew. The combined factors, all positive make...


Best boots I've owned..
When I got these boots, I wore them right out of the store and wore them for 4 days straight for an average of 10 hours a day with absolutely no discomfort. They were so comfortable that it felt like they had already been broken in for a couple of weeks. My biggest issue with most shoes and boots is that the toe box isn't nearly wide enough and my toes feel way too cramped. I've even tried "wide" shoes before and my toes are still cramped, while the rest of the shoe is actually too wide. These boots are perfect because they're snug (comfortably snug, not too tight snug) on the rest of my foot, but give my toes the perfect amount of space to move around. I've never owned another pair of shoes or boots that were perfect from the moment I put them on. I've only worn them in the snow once, but they did keep my feet dry. I would recommend these to anybody I know that has a little extra to spare on a pair of boots that will likely last them a long time.

Bought these boots during our recent snow storm because my son stole my old Garmonts and left me without boots. I love Keens! This will be my 5th pair? Sandals, sneaks, hikers, etc.. I got these for work in a very cold warehouse, general winter hiking and hopefully a little snowshoeing and mushroom hunting?? I got them the other day and the box was so much lighter than expected! Nice! They fit perfect; going up a half size, as Keen website suggested, than I normally do as these do run kinda small. In the first few minutes, I felt they ARE very warm. I have been wearing inside at work and they are almost too warm! But they are lighter than I expected for the warmth, must be the Heat "TRAPOLATOR"!!(Said like the Terminator!) The construction seems solid, stitching seems pretty solid too. Insoles come out if you need to put in custom ones. Can't wait to try out in snow and ice, and try out the soles with the "siping", that harden in cold to grip in icy conditions. They are waterproof, so far. I hear some people have complained they are not waterproof, but I figure as they are low and considering...


GREAT BOOTS!
Only rating 4 stars because I haven't worn them in below freezing weather, yet. I'm a 10 got 1/2 size larger because of reviews about Keen shoes run short and the fit perfect! Hated getting a bigger size but design of the boot made my big foot look smaller, first time ever. I'm a tour guide in NYC, outside for hours as well as walking for hours. These boots where comfortable out of the box. Light as a feather, sung at ankle (something I had to get used to, I never owned hiking boots) no big deal. Walked in them for hours in mild weather and never felt uncomfortable or to warm. It just started getting cold and so far have worn one less layer of socks so far they are warm. They say waterproof but there is NO WAY they will keep my feet dry in a downpour or walking in NYC after a snowstorm in all the slushy puddles, so that's when I wear my BOGS Boots. Other wise these are my new favorite new boots.

It is slightly gusseted by the cloth awl (the fabric band with the stripe of color), but lies completely flat on the inside and the outside by the metal awls. I liked this aspect of the shoe because the tongue of a hiking boot can get lumpy, and when you're wearing thick socks it can become uncomfortable. With this shoe, that won't happen.

The shoe has thin insulation on the inside, but is relatively warm with a nice pair of socks. With a thick pair of wool socks, I would use these as snow boots.

The fabric stripe on the side (goes around the back of the shoe) can be removed. I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, but you can. The stripe also has reflective paint on it.

Just received these, and will be exchanging for a smaller size. The toe box is very wide, so I don't know if I ordered too large, or if these would just be better for someone with wide feet. Other than that, they look nice, and seem like they would work well for the light hiking I had in mind. Will exchange and see. So far, my normal 9 1/2 would be way too big.

First let me state that coming from Florida I am not an avid hiker and have never bought hiking boots before. I bought these for a hike up Mt. Fuji in Japan which is pretty arduous. I heard that many boots run small so I bought a size up to prevent blisters. I broke them in on a smaller mountain in Korea and found them to be quite heavy. If you are looking for a lightweight boot, this is not for you. Althougth the ankle and heel area were nice and snug I found that the toe box had excess room. I was not sure if this was to account for foot swelling after hours of hiking but I just found it to be annoying as my middle toe moving around and banging the front of the boot.

For the actual Fuji hike the boot worked spectacularly well. The previous toe banging seems to have worked out and my feet were quite comfortable throughout the hike. After many hours of steep climbing up and down the mountain I was happy to report no blisters or foot pain at all! I would recommend...

Excellent shoes. Withstood the snow in Tahoe this past March. Very stiff at first. Took about 2 days for me to break into these shoes before they were comfortable enough for me to wear everyday. I typically wear a size 7 jogging/walking shoes and the size 7 Timberland Whiteledge that I purchased were a perfect fit...even with thick socks. This is my second pair of Timberland Waterproof boots.

For a relative inexpensive pair of hiking boots, it would be difficult to do much better than this one. They are quite sturdy, fit very well, look good and do the job you paid them to do. There is a bit of a break-in period for these and like another reviewer, I found them a bit stiff at first but after that I certainly have no complaints. I do not know if I would want to use these in the fridge north, but for normal weather, they are just fine. They look good in jeans or hiking shorts.


Waterproof? NOT!
Although I really like these boots they are far from waterproof. Even with repeated leather treatment using Timberland's own leather protector they still do not keep my socks from getting wet here and there.

Other than the waterproof problem, I like them. They are light and comfortable and have great traction. They are a good all around hiking boot. However, I would recommend anyone looking for a real waterproof boot to go elsewhere. I would call them water resistant, for short ventures in the rain anyhow.

Saves a lot of Time over Stone
I bought this a couple years ago as an addition to my Lansky Deluxe kit to replace the fine stone (600 grit). I wanted a stone that would sharpen quickly and still put a very sharp edge on my blades, and this hone delivered all of that.

This is a diamond abrasive sharpening hone. It's got all the Lansky features like the finger-grove holder and the steel hone element coated with diamonds imbedded in a nickle binder. It's very simple to use, and although you don't need to use oil with this, I highly recommend it.

The hone put a very nice edge on my blades. I used it to sharpen everything from cheap $5 kitchen knives from China to $200 crucible steel (61 hardness) pocket knives and it worked great. Although it's not the greatest tool for ptting on a super fine edge, it still made my knives very sharp and the diamond abrasive put a microscopic saw-like edge on the blade that made it cut very well. Not as fine as an edge honed with an ultra fine or Super Sapphire,...


No guide rod w/ Lansky sharpening stone
All the previous stones that I purchased included the guide rod, not having one means you must change it out each time you go to the next coarseness stone.
The drill hole that accepts the guide rod is tilted that it doesn't give the correct sharpening angle. Always liked the Lansky system, but if this is happening to all of their products, unfortunately they are on their way out of business!!!

Glad I read the reviews, I did order it one size larger and it's still none too big!! Also, note that this is a winter designed boot, has some thermal aspect to it, I was hoping it was year round boot. Will try, but I'm betting it's too hot for summer. Otherwise I've worn them three times now and they broke in the first wearing - adjusted to the width of my foot - felt tight the first time I put them on but got comfortable within minutes. Seems to be a nice quality boot, good tread - helps to not slip on the ice. Look forward to off-road terrain and some geocaching in these.

Cute and functional
I got these hiking boots because I don't wear leather and these boots aren't leather. I got the eights first, and I am an eight, but I had to return them and get nines because they were snug (hiking boots should have a lot of room in the toes).

They're cute, and REALLY keep the wet and cold out. I've gone snow hiking a few times in these, and my friends with leather shoes always get cold, wet toes, and I always have warm dry toes. The waterproofing is obviously excellent.

They're a little heavy, which is to be expected, and by the time I've written this review, I doubt they're being made, but if you want an adorable shoe and they have it in your size, it's a great deal.

Excellent hardware, software needs work
First, a little bit about me: I have a degree in software engineering, I'm an avid day hiker, and a bit of a gizmo geek. This is the second GPS I've owned, the other one being a Garmin GPS II+. I was on the fence about getting an Oregon for a while but held off because of mixed user reviews, especially in regards to its usability in bright sunlight. The main purpose of owning the Montana is to have detailed statistics on our day hikes such as distance, elevation, time, speed, etc. I've purchased and installed the Garmin TOPO West 24k maps and uploaded all of Washington state to the Montana. Even then, I still have 2.5GB of free space.

After carefully considering how to approach this review, since I know there's a lot of buyers holding off until a few user reviews came in, I decided to break it down into three areas, hardware, software, and company. You need all three to have a successful product, and after putting the Montana through its paces and contacting Garmin...


Garmin Montana 650t
Unlike the other reviewer, I have had no real problems with the 650t. True, it has some quirks. One is that the new lithium battery has to be charged via the included ac adaptor. (EDIT: it can be re-charged via PC!) I was also disaappointed by the lack of a carabiner (like the Oregon). But, I had no problem hooking up the Montana to my MacBook Pro to go into mass storage mode. as for maps, I always buy a microSD version so I can move it to another unit if I wish.

That said, I think the Garmin Montana is a fine device. The calibration of the 3-axis compass is smoother than it was on some other models, I love the larger and more sunlight-readable screen (still not perfect but better) and and I especially like the new layout. The overlay of the compass on the map (removable, if you like) is a bonus. The GPS is as accurate as any Garmin unit and works reasonably well under tree cover.

One minor gripe is the portrait/landscape switching. It can be disorienting if you...


Very nice GPS, just a little too big for hiking...
This was our 4th Garmin GPS (having owned GPSMap 60CSx, 305, Etrex). Bought this to replace the GPSMap60CSx as our primary hiking/backpacking device. The GPSMap works well and is a proven model but I find interfacing with it cumbersome and the map difficult to read. The touch screen access on the Montana is excellent and works very well, much like my iphone which is what I was looking for. The landscape/portrait display is very nice and works well. I found screen brightness acceptable in most all lighting conditions. Not as bright as an iphone but I'll accept this for longer battery life.

First thing to do when getting the Montana is download the latest software upgrade. Like some others, the compass would not calibrate until I did this. After the upgrade, calibration went fast and worked as expected. Using the MicroSD card with preloaded 24K Topo maps from my GPSMap worked flawlessly, just insert the card and the Montana read it perfectly. Downloading and...

Flat Feet WIN
I've just gotten back from 2 weeks of trekking in northwest China, and these boots were worn straight out of the box on the day of the trip.

I am a size 14, EE-wide, flat-footed individual and adjusted the Wolverine ICS disc to the appropriate setting (to reduce over-pronation). I am happy to share that the boots held up against rain, puddles, desert sand, snow without letting ANYTHING in. They were immensely comfortable requiring no break-in at all for me, and despite what some have said about the weight, if you are fit and understand that weight and durability are often co-related, you'll find that the "weight penalty" is negligible.

I don't care for fancy branding if it doesn't perform, and am equally happy to report that the Vibram soles provided reliable grip on a variety or surfaces both wet and dry, urban (subway stairs, wet, for instance), and outdoors (granite, also wet). They shed mud and grit surprisingly well, which is another bonus of the tread...


Lots of options with the ICS heel system
I have been wearing these boots every day for a week now and I think I finally have the heel dialed in.

I like how the heel disk has options to move from soft to firm and for people with either flat feet or high arches. You can change all of these parameters just by rotating the disk in each heel.

I also liked that these boots have a roomy toe box. I wear a 12 extra wide and they fit great.

I have had these boots for about 6 months now and I am still loving them.

What I have found is that the boots feel most comfortable with different ICS settings for different feet. These are by far the most comfortable boots I own. They are still doing great in terms of wear, traction, and waterproofing.

Whenever I wear these out, I will buy another pair.


Travel like a beast!
I walk at a brisk pace carrying heavy loads of 10-80lbs for 6-12 hours at a time. These boots are great.
Reduced the fatigue I felt, and knee pain. I was wearing steel-tipped red wings but they are too cumbersome.

One feature that I like about this particular boot is the 3rd lace ring is offset further back in the boot providing
a really "glove-like" fit to my foot. Not many boots out there with that, and I wish wolverine would use it on more
of their styles.

My only negative about these boots is they do not provide great traction on wet man-made surfaces (Tile,brick, mossy surfaces, wood stairs).

The adjustable heel ics technology is really cool, never had that in a shoe before. you can take out this hockey-puck sized gel located
under the sole of the shoe at the heel and rotate it. It has more give depending which side you set it back in when your heel strikes surfaces.

These shoes are amazing!
Just got these shoes and a snowstorm at the same time. Thought they may be a little light to handle the icy weather, but to my suprise they worked out great! Warm, light and best of all, easy to put on. I am very pleased. Small rub on back of leg since they are cut higher but the advantage is good ankle support. They seem to run true to size but a bit narrow. I went with a half size up and was happy. Good shoes. Would get them again in a heartbeat.


Seems to be a great shoe
I have been looking for a hiking shoe/boot for some time now. After several failed attempts, I tried the Nevados. My first purchase was actually a Nevados hiking boot but they must run small (similar to an athletic shoe) as the boot was too short and seemed cumbersome. I felt I would be tripping more than hiking with them. I then ordered the shoe in a 1/2 size bigger and they fit much better. Haven't been hiking in them but I think with the proper socks, they will be a pretty comfy pair of shoes.

These are great! ...and you can't be beat the price. They run a bit short so I won't be able to wear too thick socks but I don't think that'll be a problem. Purchase a 1/2 size bigger if you want to wear heavy socks. They're still pretty comfortable and seem to be made well. I haven't worn them in the mud and rain - yet - so I can't comment on the waterproof aspect. All-in-all, though, I think these are great for the weekend out doors.

These (and the Pyrenees) have been excellent boots. These seem to differ mainly in the surface finish, which is glossy and smooth on the Glaurus, rather than the matte finish of the Pyrenees. They are lightweight, comfortable for everyday wear, and good for the sort of hiking I do (I recently wore them on a hike up the Bear Canyon trail in Guadalupe Mountains, which is very rocky and gains about 1000 feet per mile).

They Pyrenees have held up to 2 hiking trips (~40 miles of rocky trails) and a year of daily use without serious wear - I see nothing from my shorter experience with the Glaurus boots to indicate that they won't be just as durable.


"Big Boy" Boots
I call them that because they're my first all-leather, (more-or-less truly) waterproof boots. I do long-distance walking trips, mostly on National Trails in England, Scotland and Wales. Because it can get "slightly" wet there, this seemed to be the right step and a step up at that. Keens are great (I have bicycle sandals, shoes and light hikers too) because they come with more room in the toe box, and that translates to fewer blisters and lost toenails. These fit, right out of the box, but being leather, I'm giving them a fair amount of break-in before my next trip. I gave them four stars ONLY because I have not yet trail-tested them. I like the lacing system, I like the support, I like the weight (not too heavy but heavy enough for rough trails) and I guess I just LIKE them. I usually buy Merrells or Salomons, and I looked at other Keens, but after extensive research, these were my choice.


Size 15 runs very small compared to other Keens
This shoe runs very small when you compare it to other Keens (and I own alot of them). This has a very nice finish to the leather on the uppers. The toe box is not as pronouced as other Keens and lots alot more conventional on the foot. The S3 platform is a rigid piece of "plastic" from heel to toe with openings throughout to make it semi-flexible. The bottom line the S3 platform is very rigid isolating the foot and reducing ankle twisting. Unfortunately for me the line ends at a size 15m. If your buying a smaller size I would recommend a size up --it runs small.

No Blisters
I having been walking in the 3day Breast cancer walk for 5yrs. 60miles over 3days! I have always had problems with blisters and have tried virtually every product on the market and still get blisters. Started using Hikegoo about 3 months ago during my training walks and NO blisters. And it washes out of the socks so I don't have to throw out my socks like i did when i used Vaseline! THis product is worth every penny!!!


Works... but is oily and expensive based on the amount you need to use
I am an avid hiker and normally use duct tape directly on the skin to prevent blisters, so I was looking for an alternative to this practice. The directions say to "thickly cover heels, toes and soles"... which for two feet, takes up a lot of product. So while it did prevent major blisters, and my feet did feel soft when I was done, the cost of the goo (which is almost gone after a few hikes), vs. a roll of duct tape that will last a couple of seasons, does not justify the cost. But if you just need it a few times a year, well worth it. :-) Also this stuff has a lot of oils in it, so your hands are covered in this oily film as well. It is the consistency of White Grease. Not trying to discount the product, but just thinking of long distance hikers that may be thinking of using the product who do not always have access to de-greasing soap and water.


Goo is Great
I began using Hike Goo 6 months ago. I'm a diabetic and remain very active in business and outdoor activities.

Having my feet free from sores and blisters is comfort as well as a medical necessity. A simple application prior to a round of golf guarantees my feet will be 'happy'.

Good Work Boot For Summer!
I bought these for work because they are sturdy like a work boot, but lighter weight like a tennis shoe for summer. They are not steel-toed but still protect my toes when I am kicking skids around. The only disappointment was the color --I thought they looked more bluish - grey in the pictures. They are definitely Grey, but it's a minor thing. Overall, very satisfied and would purchase again-- just maybe in a different color :)

I purchased these for a hiking trip in Ireland and did very little to break them in ahead of time (like, 3-4 miles very little)... I logged about 55 miles in a week - through rainy, muddy Ireland, over sharp rocks and jagged boulders, several inches of mud, and on slippery grassy slopes. I can't tell you how many times I literally thought - these things were worth every cent I paid...to me that's the true mark of a product that did its job.

They were truly put through every reasonable test imaginable - and while I WILL add that I invested in some good pairs of hiking socks, I can say without question I never experienced a single tender/sore spot or blister of any kind on my feet.
