My FAVORITE pair of pants/shorts!
One word for the Columbia Silver Ridge Convertible Pants.....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I'm 26 years old. I was afraid I'd be judged and ridiculed by my peers for purchasing and overusing pants that turn into shorts. To be honest, I stopped listening to my friends after the first criticism because I was in paradise wearing these glorious pants. When I'm in these bad boys, I feel like I might as well just never take them off. Here's why:

-The fabric feels like it was developed in the future and sent back to Columbia via time machine. There's no way you can make something SO comfortable with modern day textile factories. All kidding aside, I traveled 24 hours in planes in these pants and I can't think of anything better to wear.

-Length and width were as advertised. The scary part of ordering clothes online are always the dimensions. You ask yourself "will I be getting another set of clown clothes?" Not in this case. Don't order too small in the waste, as the belt...


Comfortable pants, just needs zipper at bottom
I bought these pants for hiking the PCT Section J up in Washington during the middle of August. Took off the pant portion during day, and put them back on when we got to camp. Fortunately the weather was pretty consistently warm all day, but these pants do not have zippers at the bottom of the leg so you have to take your boots off to get the pant legs off/on. That would be my only complaint; kept me warm at night and seemed to dry quick enough when they got wet during the day.

- Dries very fast.
CONS:
- The waist runs 2 sizes smaller. I had to return twice before I got the right size. They are very tight around the thighs. Several reviewers complain about this so be aware.
- The description says: "zip-closed side cargo pockets, and zip-closed back pockets". Wrong, there is just one side cargo pocket with a zip. Every other pocket is secured with a tiny velcro and because of that back pockets are definitely unsafe for carrying a wallet.

I have 43 years of hiking, backpacking and peak bagging experience. In recent years I migrated, like most people, from all-leather European-style mountain boots to lighter fabric/leather combination boots. They seemed to work well for a while but two years ago I started experiencing significant pain in my toes, instep and heel. best shoe i have ever bought!
I bought these for a geology field school and even though I realized quickly that geology was not the field for me, i have never regretted this purchase. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! When I lived down south, I usually just pulled them out to wear on nasty weather days due to the waterproofing, but now that I live up north I wear them almost every day! They are extremely comfortable, stay on your foot (I have narrow heels), have great arch support and keep my feet dry and warm!! They are great for running errands, site-seeing trips, or climbing up mountains of granite in TX! I find that they run true to size, but if you plan on wearing really thick socks, you might consider going up 1/2 size to compensate.


Figured out how to fix the slipping from the heel after a short time
My wife loves the shoes. Other negative reviews seem to have been based on the slipage from the heel. My wife encoutered the same problem until she put the laces through the loop on the tounge of the shoe and didn't have any more issues with it slipping off her heel. Hope this helps...


tough hiking shoe
This is one durable all around outdoor shoe. Very stable and totally waterproof up to the ankles! I have several pairs of Keens, my only concern is these are a little hard on the soles of my feet. At the end of the day my feet are sore on bottom, maybe a little cushioning would help. But overall they are great.
Order 1/2 size bigger than normal.

Love Thorlo Socks
Thorlo socks are the best! Not only do they last, the socks have cushioning for comfort, there are many choices of thicknesses depending on what you will be doing when you wear them. Not exactly what was expected
Because these are over the calf socks, I expected them to be more like knee socks, but they look like a long crew sock.. Because of the other glowing reviews, I'm wondering if I received the wrong socks.. I purchased 2 pair of them for a trip, and they did indeed help with leg swelling and pain, but I had to keep pulling them up over my calf. After I washed them, they look even more like a pair of crew socks... In comparison, I purchased a pair of Jobst support knee socks and they look like knee socks, fit like knee socks, wash great and didn't shrink...plus they cost the same as these socks.. From now on, I'll buy the jobst..I had purchased them elsewhere, but I just found them on Amazon..Wish I'd found them before ordering this brand!


Snug and comfortable
I usually wear work boots (construction), and a lot of the socks I've worn in the past tend to fall down after a while. This causes the tops of the boots to chafe my ankles. These socks stay up all day. On days which start out cold and warm up, they keep my feet comfortable, without excessive sweating. And, the cushioning on the bottoms of these socks feels pretty good after I've been on my feet for a few hours. All in all, well worth the very reasonable Amazon price.

QUALITY HIKING BOOT
Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up and I am glad that I did. I normally wear an 8B and I ordered the 8.5. The fit is pretty good, but I think that I could have gone with the size 9 if I want to wear thicker socks. I love the purple accent color which adds a little femininity to the boot. These are rated waterproof which is why I bought them. I have not tested them yet. I am very positively impressed with the Merrell Ortholite insole which is anti-microbial and the supportive arch built into the boot. I like the more rounded edges on the sole of this shoe, more like an athletic shoe than a work boot. Boot seems to move well with my foot when walking and provides lots of comfort compared to other brands. Nice padding around the ankle for comfortable support. Boot has metal closed rivited loops for the laces which will be very durable. The sole has a nice grippy nubby tread which will work well in wet weather. This boot is one of the better styles (and quality)...

Run Small - Try them on first
These boots are absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, they run small. I returned mine at a cost of $26 shipping (both ways) and ordered a half size larger. But they didn't feel any larger. So, not wanting to spend another $26 on shipping, I spent half that amount and just returned them the second time. I have other Merrell boots that are true to size. I will probably buy these at an outdoor store where I can try them on in person eventually. But I'm smarting from spending nearly $40 and still have no boots that fit.

Have happily worn Vasque Sundowners for decades until they started manufacturing them in China (and charging the same high prices). They fit poorly and are no longer comfortable. The Italian made ones lasted for years. I have serious doubts about the durability of these Chinese made ones. Sent these back and bought Hi-Tec brand which fit like a glove, were comfortable right out of the box, have a Vibram sole and, after about 18 months of heavy wear, seem very durable.


Best boots ever!
I got a pair of these in college. I took good care of them but I wore them a lot - especially in the winter. They wore like iron and were comfortable for hiking. These were my favorite boots ever. After almost daily wear during the winter for almost 15 years they finally developed a fatal crack. I will now always have a pair of vasque boots.

I loved my Vasque Sundowner Classics! They were well broken in, provided ankle support and served my well in my college backpacking days along the Blue Ridge Parkway. 2 kids later my feet have gotten wider, so they no longer fit. Composite Hikers
First let me thank the other reviewers who said that this boots run large. I normaly wear a size 10 1/2 and the size 10 fit with plenty of toe room. These are well made boots for the money. I work outside and am required to wear safety boots. Having to walk several miles on various terain I find these to be light and comfortable for safety boots. I would expect to pay more for the quality. My only complaint would be the insoles which are a little stiff and offer very little cushion. A pair of quality insoles make these boots a perfect 5.

I enjoyed these boots while they lasted. The sole cracked after about 12 months of use. Don't get me wrong, for the amount of walking I do (5-10 miles a day 4-5 days a week) these boots have a couple of thousand miles on them. I used them in the wetlands and the desert with no problems. I was so satisfied I just ordered another pair to replace the last.


Caterpillar hiking/boot awesome as a work boot!
I am the Head Life support operator and Aquarist that runs thousands of gallons of saltwater aquariums. I had been burning through the fake leather "work boots" you get from your discount shoe sources. I finally had enough of the fake leather peeling off of my boots after only 3-6 months of daily wearing. So I decided to do my research and spend a little more money to try and get something that will actually hold up in a saltwater soaked environment (for those that don't know, saltwater is VERY corrosive)
I decided upon this hiking boot, comes highly touted from caterpillar, and Caterpillar comes with pretty good recommendations for their price range. The composite toe that does not conduct electricity like a steel toe does is the last thing that really made me choose this boot over the other boots that caterpillar makes. The boot is VERY comfortable to walk in. It doesn't breathe as well as I would like it to, but that is the trade off for trying to get a water proof...

Excellent Boot and Comfort of a slipper
First let me start by saying I am merely a day hiker, nothing extreme or expedition. That being said I have worn merrel for alot of years. So this time around I needed something a little higher for support and wow. These things do fit like a slipper they are extremely comfortable to wear. The laces are tough since I usually pull pretty hard on them and the hook lace system I have always preferred. Some people say these fit like a ski boat and I could see that perhaps as Salomon makes Ski Boots. I just got back from a weekend from leyus caves to mt. adams and goldendale area. I forgot I was even wearing these things. What I mean by that is, "there wasn't anything I noticed like heel strikes, sore foot, blisters or anything that would even have me look down as if something felt wrong. My new favorite hiking shoe/boot.


Okay boot
I really wanted to love these boots, but they were just run of the mill boots. They would be fine for the average trail hiker, but I was hoping to use them for hunting in Arizona desert... They just don't do the job with traction, and the materials are already wearing out due to all the scraping on brush, cactus (which goes right through the material) after about 5 days. I would have expected them to hold up a bit better as they looked thrashed (they were put through a pretty good beating though), and the material isn't as high quality as I wanted. I'll probably spend a bit more and try Lowa boots as I've heard good things...


Good thing i bought these!
Water resistant does not mean waterproof. I don't know why people thing resistance is synonymous with impenetrable force field! It's like in a video game where you get like fire resistance or something, you still take damage from fire duh!

Anyway, I wore these out on an 8-mile hike 2 weeks ago. They did not need to be broken in at all and they definitely saved me a few times when I nearly rolled my ankle on some downhill missteps; I think mids are necessary!

The tread is great I did not slip at all in areas with gravel or loose dirt.
The lacing system is convenient, but I would advise care when lacing because they will definitely wear down at some point and eventually tear off: common sense.

They seem like some good boots. I almost went with a more expensive GTX model, I think it was the 3? I tried it on at a store and it was just too pretentious for a necessity in the outdoors; it was like wearing clouds! I'm sure the cushioning will wear down on...

Got this shoe about 2 months ago and have been a few hikes with it. Took it to Hawaii with me, where I hiked some rugged terrain and got them soaking wet. They stayed comfortable the whole time, even dried pretty quickly considering the circumstances. They are kind of hot and a little on the heavy side but I'd definitely buy them again!

Very Good Boots, but not as good as older versions
This is my third pair of Vasque boots. I wear them for logging and general outdoor wear. Previous Vasque boots have required little to no break-in and the last pair I wore for bedroom slippers. This pair has been much harder to break in and is not expected to attain slipper status. They're still great boots but I wonder if the manufacturing got sent to China. I still wear my old ones as slippers but after 12 years of hard use the upper is separating from the sole and won't stay glued.

They are waterproof, he's already made sure of that, and I like the sturdy tread and the non-skid material of the soles. The collar comes up past the ankle and is nicely padded so it doesn't rub. They are also a nice mixture of leather, mesh and man-made materials. While our kids are growing, we don't spend the money for all-leather boots.

I ordered these boots one size larger than his normal size so he won't grow out of them in the next few months, but the laces tighten nicely all the way up so they don't feel too big.

After looking at the other reviews for these boots I bought a pair for one of my sons. When it arrived I found the stitching to be well done and the lace eyes to be sturdier than I would have expected. In the picture of the boots you will see a black panel at the toe and there is also one at the heel that goes up 2/3rds of the shoe's height. These are made of what seems like rubber and reinforce the toe and heel. I was very impressed by the boots and my family ordered a second pair for my older sons. The boots are heavy and the soles start out stiff but overall I think these boots (which we ordered a few sizes large) will actually outlast our kids. The only problem with them are the laces which fray easily, but having to buy quality replacement laces should not deter a future purchase for us. We just bought these for my 7 year old yesterday. They fit great and feel very tough! He extremely active outdoors and usually destroys a good pair of shoes within 2-3 months but these seem as though they will hold up much better! I ordered these for my 12-year-old. He is currently a size 6 or 6.5. I ordered these boots in 6.5 and 7. With hiking socks, the 7s fit better. We returned the 6.5. He LOVES the camo print and his friends think they're cool too. He wore them to school for a few days to break them in before wearing them to a Boy Scout Camporee. He'll wear them backpacking and to various camps this summer. I am very pleased.


Boot is good for the price, but the laces are HORRIBLE
I decided to give it 3 stars instead of 2 because this shoe is very light weight and price is low. I bought this to use when my main boots are drying.

After my first break in I had to stop atleast 6 times my first mile to re-tie the laces, even using double knots. The laces are made of a cheap material and I should have just bought new ones to replace it.

Any experienced hiker knows that you need to break your hiking footware before you take it on a real hike, but just my breaking in process was so unpleasent, I have decided to just use these around the house instead. I don't want to take a chance with these on a weekend 16 mile trip even once. I fear they will fail and I will have serious issues as a result.

Very light Hiking Boot.
I wanted a boot for hunting that was light, waterproof, wide, and comfortable. That is exactly what I received with this boot. I tried on many shoes at local stores that just weren't comfortable for my wide foot. I found this shoe at a local store but they didn't have it in a wide width. I found it on amazon in wide and because of the great return policy on shoes I bought it. It arrived fast as usual and I tried it on and it felt great. I then used it hunting and really loved this shoe as I hiked around the mountainside.

For the fairly low price, this is a quality boot. The leather is pretty thin but the overall construction is good and boot feels like it will be durable enough. I wouldn't want to do any long hikes in this boot but for short outings and day to day casual use it is fine. I'll use it as a backup boot for when my other shoes are wet. The biggest flaw is lack of sole stiffness but as it cost half of what I'm used to paying for high quality hiking boots this isn't surprising.

These shoes/boots are very comfortable and stylish too! I have gotten several compliments on them already. These boots are top notch, the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. The inner sole of the boots are made by Vibram and they are extremely comfortable. The stitching is solid. The outer soles are very thick with great grip on the bottoms. The strings are thick and high quality.

The only annoying thing about them is that the top 2 notches for the strings are the little arms that you have to wrap nudge the string through every time you put them on but I suppose that's typical of most boots and it's not that big of a deal. That's just the only thing I don't like about them so I wanted to add that to the review.

Wearing these almost feels like sneakers--that's how comfortable they are. The first time I wore them, my sister-in-law said, "Wow, those are really nice boots. I bet they were $180 or $200." And I said, "Nope, they were about $100 on Amazon." Trust me, my sis-in-law is no big fan of mine so for her to say that she had to have been very impressed by them...

I love these! As stated in the item description, and reiterated by many other Keen wearers, these do run a little small. I ordered half a size up and they fit perfectly. They were out-of-the-box comfortable for me, as they required no break-in period for long walks. The metal hook-and-eyelet system for the laces is so strong and durable, I cannot imagine ever having issues with them breaking the way fabric or plastic hooks do. The entire boot seems so high-quality and strong to me; these features are worth the extra money to me when compared with other Keen models. They are weighty, which you should expect from a boot of this nature, but I don't find them any heavier than other winter/hiking boots. I have a flat foot and these provide excellent arch support. The height of the boot is also appreciated during long walks as they provide ankle support and have proven to withstand higher levels of snow! Nice shoe but narrow, even in the "wide"
This shoe was too narrow for my foot, even in the wide size. I normally wear a 6.5 C in a dress shoe, and both the 8 wide and 8.5 wide were too narrow for my foot. They gave no room for the foot swelling that can take place over long hikes.

I finally got out in my new boots today. Went on a short hike to "break in" the new boots, about 3 hours round trip. I'm usually a size 7.5 to 8. The 8 fit me great with room to wear a good SmartWool sock. No blisters, not even a red, rubbed spot. Quite comfy. . . very happy with my purchase!

Fit's all ds's except xl
I tried this on all the ds's, and it fits all of them except the xl. It is really sturdy. I am using it for a case for my 3ds. I keep games in the front side, and the 3ds in the other. I love this case better than any other case I have owned.


Wow- Excellent Case!
I ordered this case for use with my 3DS system. While the logo shows the "regular" DS logo, I'm happy to say that the 3DS fits very well. Having received the case as part of a 3DS preorder promotion, I researched it very little and wasn't expecting much. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and features. This is much more than a bag with a single, large pocket for storing the system. Indeed, this case will definitely become the primary travel case for my 3DS.

Not only does the case look nice, but it is well-constructed. The nylon feels strong and all features are stitched on (as opposed to being glued), including the rubber "foot" towards the bottom, which appears to only exist for decorative purposes. Worth specifically pointing out: the amount of padding is substantial for such a small case. I feel like the system is very well protected.

Excellent Boot, Highly Recommended
This is my first review on Amazon because this boot is too good to not have any reviews. I wore the Salomon Comet 3D GTX on a couple short walks before hiking a 2,000ft ascent over about 12 miles. They felt great with very little break in. I would say they're ready out of the box. Grip is excellent up loose rock and dirt. I don't even bother aiming for rocks when crossing streams any more and my feet never get wet inside the boot. The only downside is that the boot will be a little warmer than a fully ventilated boot, but the trade off is well worth it to me. I did a 20 mile hike last week with a 3800ft ascent through a few snow fields along the way and the boots felt great. They did well in the snow until the slope became very steep, then I had to make quite an effort to get my footing before taking each step. I guess that's what crampons are for. They're very stable downhill in regular conditions through dirt and rocks. It's obvious that the boots make a huge difference when I see...


Good hiking boot
I started out with a new pair of Vasque Breeze GTX and although a decent looking shoe, my foot would ache after a good long day hike. Preparing for Philmont trip with my two boys and others with our crew, I was having a lot of trouble with my feet. Bought a pair of the Salomon Comet 3D GTX boots and wow what a difference. Performed a half dozen more practice hikes with full pack at around 45 pounds and another 10 or so small 3 to 5 mile hikes in the evening during hot 90 to 100 degree weather and the boots held up great. Went to Philmont and did the 80 mile trek with no complaints either. Wore the SmallWool heavy hiking socks with the boots. They make a great combination. Came back from Philmont and in the fall put on about 140 miles worth of lite pack hiking in preparation for 50 miler in 24hrs charity hike. Pulled off the 50 miler in 22.5 hours with one change of socks and the Salomons never let me down. I had one week in summer camp this past year where we had 6.5 inches of rain...


Excellente!
I have a pair of Vasque Bitterroot boots in 10 wide which I love, but being all leather they are a bit too warm for spring/summer hiking, so I started looking at boots with a bit more breathability. Ended up ordering the Vasque Breeze and a pair of these. My feet are a bit wide so I got the Salomons in 10.5 as they do not have a wide size.

I received both pairs of boots a day apart. I could tell these Salomons were just better made than the Vasque (of course they are $60 more, but they seemed well worth the extra money and then some). Both boots fit well, but the higher quality of the Salomons and protective toe covering was too much to pass up. The Vasque Breeze just seemed flimsier. All my research seemed to indicate that Salomon boots were excellently crafted, and getting them verified that. Not that the Vasque Breeze were bad, but just seemed average. The Bitterroot also feels top quality FYI.

So far I have taken these Salomons on one hike. Very comfortable...

cute but not practical
We bought two of these in a hurry before leaving for an oversea trip with our toddlers. We thought the bags can be stuffed with small toys for the girls to carry on their back. Unfortunately, you can't put much in them and the bags don't sit properly on our kids' backs.


Tiny
Needed a backpack for my 3-year-old to take things to pre-school - a snack, an extra pair of underwear, a small toy - and although this is sold as "toddler-sized," it's TINY. It seems to be well made, but seriously, it looks like one of those mini backpacks that were popular in the 90s. I'm not sure it's practical at all.

Good for the price
I purchased these shoes in size 8.5 W. I have a hard time find shoes in my size available in store and often have to order shoes blind without having anything to actually try on. I found these shoes to be pretty true to size and the width to be exactly what I needed. The color in the product photo is very accurate and I was happy to find the "lime" color accents are not as garrish as I had feared. The construction quality seems fairly good (all the seams are tightly double stitched and nothing appears to be poorly glued in place). The shoes themselves are light weight and breathe very well. The tread is pretty deep and gives a good feel on gravel and dirt (it does have lime colored accents down the entire center of the bottom of the shoe which is not particularly pretty in my opinion). I have not run these shoes through any hard outdoors work and don't actually entend to use them for hiking but rather for everyday wear since I personally can't stand sneakers. In...

a very good shoe well made and with precision. all seams straight and not too close to the edge so they wont come loose. the shoe is a little heaveyer the new balance that i also have. The soles grip good on most serfices and seem to wear well. the main thing i like these over the new balance is the toung is longer so it does not slip under the laces. i would reccomend these over the new balance. they also fit my square front toes that get pinched in so many of other brands with pointed fronts on the shoes.


Nice boot for the money, a little weird fit and lacing
I've had these boots for about a week, and aside from a couple of oddities I'll point out, they seem very solid.

They are wider than other boots I've worn. I always wear a size 10.5M (US) and these are maybe a tiny bit shorter than most and the width is a little too roomy. So, a thicker pair of socks might be necessary if I wear these on a real hike. The lacing is also a bit odd. There is only one "hook" at the top and a total of four eyelets. This means I cannot really cinch the laces down, which I'd like to do with the width issue.

That said, these seem to be well constructed, all glue and seams are tight. They are light weight, but offer pretty decent protection when walking on rocky trails. For the money, they were a good buy. I'd just be aware of the wider than usual shape. Oh, and the lime green color is not overly bold and blends pretty well with the gray.

A great boot!
I have gained a lot from reading other reviews so I feel compelled to share my experience with these boots as there is only one other review at the time of this write up.

Before purchasing this boot I performed my usual research online and looked at a lot of different options. I have a fair number of Merrell's in the closet and have been generally happy with them. As I looked around I wanted to be sure I found a tall enough boot that had at least two shoelace eyelets above the pivot point of the ankle to eliminate the excess movement and chafing that can occur with many mid height boots that have only one eyelet above the ankle. These boots caught my eye so I took a good look at them and researched quite a bit about Keen. I added a pair of Keen's to the collection several weeks ago and am quite happy with them and my research showed that other owners are generally quite happy as well.

Best Boots I have EVER owned!!!
I have worked in Military/Para Military & Security Industry for nearly 30 years. During that time I have experimented with all manner of boot at all price points. Some have been winners; some have fallen appart within days of hard use in tough conditions. What I can say is I wish I had these boots 15 years ago. I am not a shoe salesman or cobbler but here are my feelings. Priority one is fit and comfort and these boots exceeded all expectations. They feel like a very secure sneeker all be it slightly heavier. Next for me is weight. This is a light boot for it's construction. This all leather, waterproof boot is outstanding, the midsole and cushioning is second to none and the shank provides great support. The sole provides traction and is non scuffing so I can wear them in my office and out in the field. Best boots I've owned..
When I got these boots, I wore them right out of the store and wore them for 4 days straight for an average of 10 hours a day with absolutely no discomfort. They were so comfortable that it felt like they had already been broken in for a couple of weeks. My biggest issue with most shoes and boots is that the toe box isn't nearly wide enough and my toes feel way too cramped. I've even tried "wide" shoes before and my toes are still cramped, while the rest of the shoe is actually too wide. These boots are perfect because they're snug (comfortably snug, not too tight snug) on the rest of my foot, but give my toes the perfect amount of space to move around. I've never owned another pair of shoes or boots that were perfect from the moment I put them on. I've only worn them in the snow once, but they did keep my feet dry. I would recommend these to anybody I know that has a little extra to spare on a pair of boots that will likely last them a long time.

Outstanding Boots
Bought these boots during our recent snow storm because my son stole my old Garmonts and left me without boots. I was looking for not only a boot that would keep my feet warm and comfortable but also waterproof. I live near Seattle so you can imagine just how much water fall we see here. Tested the very day I received them in the snow. My feet stayed not only warm but also dry. Over the next several days I have worn them every where in melting snow, in rain, in mud, and all types of surfaces. These shoes are far more superior to my Garmonts in every way shape and form. These boots are worth every bit of the money. Just a reminder to all those who decide to purchase make sure that you go a half size up because they tend to run a half size smaller than other shoes. Very comfortable boots!!


Keens Revel-Womens size 7
I love Keens! This will be my 5th pair? Sandals, sneaks, hikers, etc.. I got these for work in a very cold warehouse, general winter hiking and hopefully a little snowshoeing and mushroom hunting?? I got them the other day and the box was so much lighter than expected! Nice! They fit perfect; going up a half size, as Keen website suggested, than I normally do as these do run kinda small. In the first few minutes, I felt they ARE very warm. I have been wearing inside at work and they are almost too warm! But they are lighter than I expected for the warmth, must be the Heat "TRAPOLATOR"!!(Said like the Terminator!) The construction seems solid, stitching seems pretty solid too. Insoles come out if you need to put in custom ones. Can't wait to try out in snow and ice, and try out the soles with the "siping", that harden in cold to grip in icy conditions. They are waterproof, so far. I hear some people have complained they are not waterproof, but I figure as they are low and considering...


GREAT BOOTS!
Only rating 4 stars because I haven't worn them in below freezing weather, yet. I'm a 10 got 1/2 size larger because of reviews about Keen shoes run short and the fit perfect! Hated getting a bigger size but design of the boot made my big foot look smaller, first time ever. I'm a tour guide in NYC, outside for hours as well as walking for hours. These boots where comfortable out of the box. Light as a feather, sung at ankle (something I had to get used to, I never owned hiking boots) no big deal. Walked in them for hours in mild weather and never felt uncomfortable or to warm. It just started getting cold and so far have worn one less layer of socks so far they are warm. They say waterproof but there is NO WAY they will keep my feet dry in a downpour or walking in NYC after a snowstorm in all the slushy puddles, so that's when I wear my BOGS Boots. Other wise these are my new favorite new boots.
