A great boot!
I have gained a lot from reading other reviews so I feel compelled to share my experience with these boots as there is only one other review at the time of this write up.
Before purchasing this boot I performed my usual research online and looked at a lot of different options. I have a fair number of Merrell's in the closet and have been generally happy with them. As I looked around I wanted to be sure I found a tall enough boot that had at least two shoelace eyelets above the pivot point of the ankle to eliminate the excess movement and chafing that can occur with many mid height boots that have only one eyelet above the ankle. These boots caught my eye so I took a good look at them and researched quite a bit about Keen. I added a pair of Keen's to the collection several weeks ago and am quite happy with them and my research showed that other owners are generally quite happy as well.

Best Boots I have EVER owned!!!
I have worked in Military/Para Military & Security Industry for nearly 30 years. During that time I have experimented with all manner of boot at all price points. Some have been winners; some have fallen appart within days of hard use in tough conditions. What I can say is I wish I had these boots 15 years ago. I am not a shoe salesman or cobbler but here are my feelings. Priority one is fit and comfort and these boots exceeded all expectations. They feel like a very secure sneeker all be it slightly heavier. Next for me is weight. This is a light boot for it's construction. This all leather, waterproof boot is outstanding, the midsole and cushioning is second to none and the shank provides great support. The sole provides traction and is non scuffing so I can wear them in my office and out in the field. With some of my boots I had to change before heading out to shoot or taking the boys out for some PT or I would upset the office cleaning crew. The combined factors, all positive make...
Best boots I've owned..
When I got these boots, I wore them right out of the store and wore them for 4 days straight for an average of 10 hours a day with absolutely no discomfort. They were so comfortable that it felt like they had already been broken in for a couple of weeks. My biggest issue with most shoes and boots is that the toe box isn't nearly wide enough and my toes feel way too cramped. I've even tried "wide" shoes before and my toes are still cramped, while the rest of the shoe is actually too wide. These boots are perfect because they're snug (comfortably snug, not too tight snug) on the rest of my foot, but give my toes the perfect amount of space to move around. I've never owned another pair of shoes or boots that were perfect from the moment I put them on. I've only worn them in the snow once, but they did keep my feet dry. I would recommend these to anybody I know that has a little extra to spare on a pair of boots that will likely last them a long time.
