perfect and not too hot
I was torn between these and the non-waterproof version of the Alamosa. Glad I got these; they do not make my feet hot, even in the heat of Big Bend! Haven't really tested the waterproofing yet, since we are in drought here in TX! Super comfy and light too. I tried on about 10 different boots (Vasque, Timberland, other Keens) and these fit me the best, by far!
Love these shoes, beware of the laces
After reading the reviews, I bought one half size up, an 8. My previous shoes were Merrell, a 7.5. They fit exactly the same in length. The issue with these shoes were that the laces were too short. If I tried to lace them to the top, I could not tie them. I liked the shoe a lot, good ankle support. I swapped out the laces and decided to keep them.
Great boot
I wear size 8-1/2brooks running shoe and got 8-1/2 boot. Great fit. No break in needed , my feet don't feel tired or sore love this boot
