The BAFX Products hiking / walking / trekking poles are made from light weight durable aluminum and come in a stylish royal blue color. Each pole can be extended to any length from 25.5 to 53 inches in length. Poles extend by turn locking system and each pole has a measuring on the middle section for easy adjustment to your preferred height on every trip. They also have a durable steel tip hidden under the rubber foot at the bottom for trekking on more rocky and uneven terrain. They also each include an optional snow disk for year round enjoyment. Each stick contains an anti shock spring located in the upper section of each pole for more comfortable walking. Good poles
30 some dollars for a pair of poles is pretty cheap, at least from what I have found. So I wasn't expecting a whole lot from these but could not afford the much more expensive ones I have seen around. They turned out to be pretty decent poles except for the compass on the top of the pole which is junk and doesn't work but I really did not buy them for that so I don't really care. None the less I did knock a star off for that.
Nice design, sturdy
These have held up well through the course of our hikes and I am very happy I made the purchase. The price was right at about $35 for a pair of two where as I have seen similar poles going for 40-80 for one, not sure if those are any better but for our needs these were great.
Cant wait to get out to use them again.... They also make great swords for your kids when your not looking.... just make sure they don't take the cap on the end off or they might poke somebody's eye out!
Good value, Sturdy Poles
I purchased these poles for the occasional treks I like to take near my house in the hills. They aren't the biggest of hills but can get pretty steep and rocky in parts. These have been of great help and have allowed me to go places I wouldn't normally trek to. My hikes are only and hour or two long and have only used these on about 5 hikes or so but so far they have held up well with no visible permanent bending and they still collapse well for storage. So far a great value and have recommended them to some of my friends. PS - There is also a small compass on the tops of each of these but they seem to not work very well at all! Do not buy these for the compass feature ;)
